hey you....... our world is not round its sphere in shape......

If you are looking for a philosophical answer, I will explain it as the wisdom of The creator. Speaking in the language of physics, sphere is the shape which can arrange and order, perfectly in the space provided. Moreover every massive body exhibits the phenomenon of gravity with which it attracts all the matter around it to its core (the center) which resultantly forms sphere.
You can verify it with the molten states of metals (eg. a small mass of mercury); and even the drop of water or other liquids follows the same phenomenon.

a ball is the most energy efficient shape there is. that's why... (same thing for bubbles: they're round for that same reason)
PS : and because the Almighty Bunny Rabit That Created Us All liked his Fluffy Round Tail so much he wanted to give earth the same shape... That's why earth is an uneven globe... (honestly... "god" is never an explanation, just a way to move the question elsewhere)

The world itself is not round, it has lumps and bumps and mishapen areas all over. It is the atmosphere that is completley round. The gasses of the atmosphere are held in place by gravity. Gravity of entirely equal force, which is why it is round.

If it were flat, the waters, the winds, etc...wouldn't be able to circulate. Hence, the world is round.

Because God created it that way... It has no edges so we won't fall down... Some people say that the earth has edges so they're afraid to go to the edge of the world because they might fall down, but I don't believe them...
