The best would be to become vegetarian till you're here. Perhaps there are some Islamic restaurants or butcheries too in the capital. Or you could simply cut the chicken yourself. Granny has a lot of tasty and bio ones.
Anyway, I read the Koran, so I know it's allowed to eat haram food when you are travelling.

Look for places that sell halal food I'm sure there is a place. And when you buy stuff make sure you read the ingredients even if its a piece of candy.

All I can tell you is I ate at a döner shop in Pest once... if you want to go there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I'm guessing it's halal...

Just be a vegetarian if you are not sure of the status of non veg stuff.Secondly,the money you spend buying that food should be through a legitimate means.All the best.
