YES...........
The Queen finally got her driving licence back on Friday, almost 60 years after she last saw it.
The World War II document, signed just 'Elizabeth' is one of the exhibits at the Adjutant General's Corps Museum in Peninsula Barracks, Winchester.
It was given to the then 18-year-old Princess in 1945 when she was a member of the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
It was kept by the Queen's driving instructor after the war, before making it into the hands of a private collector, who recently sold it to the museum.

The Queen is not legally required to carry a driving license as she is not implicated in the Road Traffic Act or Motor Vehicle Driving Regulations. The Queen, as Princess Elizabeth, learnt to drive at the age of 19 while serving with the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the war. She would have required a licence at this time, since she was not the Sovereign and would therefore have been required to hold a driving licence under the existing acts of that time.

The Queen is an excellent driver having learned to drive during her brief military service during World War 2.
As Monarch the Queen does NOT need to have a driving licence, nor does She have a passport, but it doesn't stop Her getting about.

For her private use The Queen drives a Daimler Jaguar saloon or a Vauxhall estate. Like every other qualified driver, The Queen holds a driving licence.
The Duke of Edinburgh has a Discovery and, for short journeys round London, uses a Metrocab. The private cars are painted Edinburgh green.
A number of Royal Mews vehicles have now been converted to run on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), a more environmentally friendly fuel than petrol or diesel. Converted vehicles include a Daimler and The Duke of Edinburgh's Metrocab.
While Royal cars do not clock up vast distances on the road, they have travelled widely. Even if The Queen travels to an official engagement by train, helicopter or plane, she will generally travel by State car upon arrival in a new town; the car is driven to the location ahead of her arrival. For State visits, Royal cars and chauffeurs have travelled as far afield as Moscow.
Cars are kept in the Royal Mews in purpose-built garages. In charge of the fleet of cars is a team of eight chauffeurs, whose task is to drive members of the Royal Family, senior Royal Household employees, and official visitors from one place to another.
Despite their special form and purpose, in many ways Royal cars are just like any others. They are liable to the Congestion Charge, payable by all cars which drive within central London. They need road tax, regular MOTs and insurance. They must follow all the rules of the road. And even a special police escort can't prevent The Queen's car being held up in traffic from time to time.

sure, Queen Elizabeth II do force, espeically whilst she is on trip journeys in Scotland (usually in the geographical region). lots of the time, her husband Prince Philip oftentimes force the two one among them to royal engagement and activities. the only individual in the united kingdom who isn't required to have a using licence with the intention to force is the Queen. She additionally does not require variety plates on any of her autos!

I think she does. She drove in the Second World War, and she drives around the sandringham (and Balmoral) estate - and has been photographed doing so. Even if she doesn't have an actual licence, she knows how to.

I hope so, she often sneaks up on us when we are carriage driving in Windsor Great park, so funny as all the tourist and walkers in the park seem completely unware who is driving the car! Can't tell you the make of the car, as she is usually without security, she thinks of the park as her "back garden" and it must be nice to drive around "unknown and normal" for awhile.
