love is blind indeed, the heart is in no philosophical way connected to your brain which in turn is connected to the eyes. Beauty can be two things, either the one perceived by your eyes or the one felt by your heart. a flower that is in full bloom in spring need your eyes to be appreciated, while a baby may need you heart for you to see and appreciate the life that was given to it.

i can see a lot of sense in your question. true enough, one should ask that... but you see, if you think you have fallen in love with someone just because of the beauty that your eyes can see, that is very good for you, but it was your mind that fell in love and got attracted and not your heart. beauty will always be in the eyes of the beholder and one such inspiration for that is the judgement of the heart.

Love has something to do with beauty because we are falling in love after our instincts . We fall in love with people we perceive to be beautiful or people who are in our standards of ideal . Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Love becomes blind after when we would do anything for the loved person and because the person you are in love with will be the most beautiful person in the world to you. Even if they don't seem that way to others. When we fall in love we see perfection in the other person. We are blown away by the connection, the power, the intensity, the beauty. We see the truth of that person, not the illusion. We don't see his/her mistakes or defects , the bad part , just the good part .

The word LOVE which is conventionally an expression of extreme attraction or intense emotional state between 2 opposite sex, forms when 2 mentioned persons place in such condition. This will result in loss of former wisdom which those 2 might possessed it before falling in love. This concept (loss of wisdom) has been explained as BLIND which is actually not the physical blindness but, psychological dis function(lack of wisdom).
This sort of LOVE in its EXTREME, may lead to the above condition. In fact most of these cases happen while one of these 2 is trying to reach another one but, is unable to reach.
Some people believe that this sort of love is sexual attraction in its different dimensions and the TRUE LOVE does not have an object, which means: the state of LOVE is an independent metaphysical being that can be felt by individuals if they are living in their originality.
Here are some instruction for being in your original state or REAL SELF:
1.Correct breathing and body posture, you should count from 1to 6 while breathing in and 1to17 until you breath out.(after a while you will get use to it without counting the numbers).
2.Drinking about 4-8 glass of water per day.
3.Exercise.(Walking,etc).
4.Checking overall health.(Medical tests).
5.Prevention. Avoiding unhealthy drinks, food , and habits.
6.Eating variety of Healthy food.
7.Self Realisation / Thinking at present.
8.Sufficient sleeping.

Beauty is an entirely subjective concept, my friend. For example, if you are checked out by someone like Pamela Anderson but somehow you still, obstinately insist on your Jennifer Aniston type of girlfriend-even though you have the charms and the charisma of a Johnny Depp, let's say-then, yes; in that sense, love is blind and you're the blindest person ever!

The LOVE I (try to) know, does not have much to do with physical beauty. I see the one I love completely. Inside and outside! The thoughts, the beliefs, the reasons, the ways of thinking. I love the way she looks at things, she thinks about herself, and the way she IS!!! If she is physically beautiful, then it IS just another motive for me to love her. But if not, I have SO MANY other reasons to love her. some of them may be explainable(logical, or justifiable), and some are just due to my senses. The explainable ones are not unique, but I DO THINK that the others ARE unique!!!
This is beauty!
So you can either call love "blind" or "The eye of your whole!".

.MAN.

Love has nothing to do with beauty whatsoever. Why would it? I understand what people are saying about immediate physical attraction but that’s just initial lust. But then again...If you truly love someone wouldn’t they be beautiful to you too?

Beauty is a state. Love is a lie. The colors are all wrong, they just don't match.
