No, burning is too easy of a death, shock set in and you eventually pass out pain or smoke inhalation. Think of something a little slower and more painful and I may agree with you if its harsh enough.

While I may agree with your premise that once a molester always a molester, the U.S. Constitution protect individuals including you and me from cruel and unusual punishment. By the way, there are many people that were convicted in a court of law only to find they were innocent after all. The finding of guilt does not necessarily provides closure in cases like this. Can you imagine what would have happened to the McMartin's if they were found guilty based on all the fabricated evidence that was presented in court. Fortunately, the jury saw where the whole thing was going and raised above the fray and the hysterics to find them not guilty.
While I don't condone pedophiles (I am a father of three small children) we have to be careful what we wish for because it can come back to bite us.

I have to agree with Patricia on this one. The problem with pedophilia is that it is such an emotive subject that the majority of people react to it without being in posession of all the facts. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM.
For every person who overreacts or 'gets it wtrong' or acts without thinking, another pedophile slips past unnoticed. For example, there were reports in the news a few years back of people in a housing estate in england burning someone out because they were a paediatrician...a PAEDIATRICIAN for Gods sake!!
If a mob of angry misguided people can make a mistake like this, what state do you think the public conciousness surrounding the issue must be in. The facts are clear for anyone who wants to research it properly, I suggest EVERYONE reads the link I provide to avoid supplying this smokescreen that the real abusers hide under.
Let me give you a simple example, If Im a child molester and I go to my solicitor and tell him that I have been harrassed, threatened, even assaulted even though I hadnt, the chances are that the judicial system will take this into account when sentencing me because they know how the vast majority of the public can react to reports/rumours of this nature...see where the problem is?
These people need to be dealt with according to the law, summary justice brings more problems than it solves. Please read the article from the link below, its quite a long read but I believe its one of the most insightful pieces I've seen on the subject

Being found guilty doesn't necessarily mean being guilty. What if you douse in petrol an innocent person?
Can you imagine being imprisoned for the rest of your natural life? The death - we all have to go there one day. But living in one small place, not being allowed to run barefoot in the grass, never making yourself a cup of coffee, never see any of the big world again.. ? What a punishment.
Besides, they get usually raped and killed in the prisons within 6 months anyway.

Molesters/Children Destroyed, I have a question what would you do in my place this is a serious ??? This lady she hurt so many in my family and hers yet she is still free to roam, she likes them real small, 1yrs-7yrs, or slow learners to 10yrs... She hurt my children yet when they tried to tell a counselor, the counselor told the cops, they did nothing... at this time the lady was hurting her grand kids, then mine.... she is 60yrs old is she still a danger to others??? I think so! I want her arrested and tried then to spend the rest of her life in prison, by the way she is on SSI. some how dousing them in petrol is not the answer, better to put them away for life, this way they never get out to hurt no one, and to use the system...

I wouldn't go to the extent of gas and death....but I do feel these perverts should be punished. Having them register as a Sex Offender and have it publically known is a great start.
On the block I live on we have a registered offender living right down the street. Neighbors are on alert and don't let their children play outside without the parent being with them. Alerted neighbors and whistle blowers is what we have here. The guy can't look at us cross eyed without the reports being done. He actually stays to himself....and never gives us all a reason to report....
If you yourself have been a victim I would suggest counseling.....and confrontation with your molestor. Have that person charged if this was a recent incident!

Frankly, I think you sound every bit as sick as child molestors. Talk about burning anyone alive is pathological.
And I'm sure there are other foul creatures with thinking as disordered as yours. That does not make it correct.

Nope, although I agree that they should be punished your idea of punishment is cruel, and I can not agree with it.
