I have seen in the movies that Italians always move thier hands while they are talking, Does this happen in real life?

Yes, it does. Italians are full of expression, and whatever they think has tobe expressed. Thje spoken word they find is not enough, so the action by hands.

Nothing wrong. Its so nice. Like in all Mafia & Godfather movies.
Make a visit to any Italian marketplace or restaurent. You'll see there too.

I spent 18 months in Italy when I was in the navy, and yes they do use their hands when they talk. If I had the money, that is the country I would take a vacation in. The people are very friendly, and the food is to die for. And the women are drop dead gorgeous.

People of assorted ethnic backgrounds supplement sound with gesture but the Italians have made it a definable part of their heritage. My guess would be a seventy thirty split among Italians while on the reverse Japanese would be thirty seventy. Peace.

In Hollywood movies, I always see the actors lip movement, without any gesticulation. Are Americans emotion less or motion less, as shown in these motion pictures?
