drugs. drugs there are many, even coffee. The reason most likely is because the person gets something from it every time, thats right it never fails. And usually its a medicated feeling. We medicate ourselvs..see we arent really drug adicts first but, lovers of self. it can be selfishness in a hidden way. When something medicates us it takes away our emmediate problen and it gives us something. It replaces the negative thing. Instead of boldly facing the issue or issues we want to put it off. Instead of standing firm on personal morals, we in a sence De moralize ourselves. It becomes an addiction. First we desensitise ourselves, and then we are willing to hurt ourselves and its to take away the hurt in the first place. It then becomes a Vicious cycle. And we dont think there is a problem.

Different reasons, some cuz it feels good, some cuz they feel bad. (is a subtle difference) Some do it as a way of escape. Some become hooked cause of circumstances, and physical pain. The Btch of em are, that most use dope to feel good, not knowing that you'll eventually HAVE to take them just to not feel bad.Ya quickly start to need more an more to get the same high, and eventually quite getting the high at all.
My own firsthand knowledge is with painkillers. Service related events made reconstructive surgery neccessary. I eventually got hooked on opiate painkillers (morphine, demerol, etc.) I kept using them as a way to avoid dealing with the loss of a career, and mate walkin out. lol, no pity just giving an example. Some can use recreationally, but those who can't are in their own special hell. Cover yer wallet, and hide your valuables, but try not to judge em too harshly.

what about the ones who have went through a surgery and have a chronic illness and the dr.changes there meds more times than the dr has sex,i never did drugs all my life until i was put in the hospital and they used me as a guinea pig

Maybe for the thrill, or because everyone they know is doing, or because they're wondering what it's like, or because they have genuine emotional problems.
