Lizards are not dangerous, ignore it. It's terrified of you which is why it's hiding in the corner- it doesn't want to get anywhere near you.

OMG run hide in the darkest closet you have. He will eat you and leave nothing but your clothing. In those he will ball up and stay until your unsuspecting family or friends come to check on you and when they do he will eat them as well. it will be a long painful death with all the venomous poison he will inject into you body through the stingers he keeps lodged in his anus.
Are you for real? It is a tiny reptile that is now forever traumatized because it not too long ago had a dance with a gigantic shoe that tried to crush his head in while he was going out to eat dinner and rid you of your incect problem. I garentee that he was just trying to get in out of the heat when you ruined his day and prolly the rest of his life. Have a heart. Prop open a door and chase it GENTLY out with the soft end of a broom mop or other long item. Good greif.

Don't be afraid of it. It won't harm you. I used to have geckos crawling around all the time in my house when I lived in Hawaii. Lizards are a sign of good luck and they will eat any bugs which might be crawling around. Just think of it as a friend coming to visit and wish you well. Give it a name too.

See your doctor, you sound like you are having a panic attack & need some Xanax to calm down!
I seriously doubt you have a dangerous lizard in your house. If you tried to kill it with your shoe & it didn't bite you, it is not dangerous - your fear is the only danger to you!
Have somebody that doesn't have your lizard phobia to catch it & release it outside.
You really need to address your fear issues!

Lizards are usually harmless. If you're that scared of it, go somewhere like your living room and sleep there.
