NO WAY. A person becomes your enemy when they have done something very wrong intentionally to hurt you and yours. The reason they are your enemy is because you dislike them and do not trust them, so you keep them away from you so they can never do anything like that again.

An enemy is someone who'd hurt you and make you feel terrible or even put you in a really awkward situation..An enemy could do anything to cause you pain. Yes, I do hate my enemy for causing me that pain...But when I'm over what that enemy has done...I'd forgive him/her but never forget what they've done..For what they've done has been one valued lesson for me to learn from and never fall into that trap or pain again.

I love my enemies because they made me better person.
In Lotus Sutra, Chapter 12 is stated: "I have attained Buddhahood because of big friendship with Devadata (The greatest enemy of the Buddha)" and that "he gave me the Lotus Sutra".
It means that we do not develop just by pleasant things but also with unpleasant events. So, to love your enemy means to accept his or her evil deeds as a way for us to develop and in that way to turn the poison into medicine.
When our enemy will see how much he or she has helped us to develop, he will not be glad. When we see how much his or her evil deeds made us stronger and more developed, we will feel great happiness.
The ones who will control their anger will prevail.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer... but don't love them, at least not more than you love your friends.
Of course, it also depends on the situation.
