I don't remember exactly when my daughter crawled, but she walked late; she took her first step without holding on when she was 17 1/2 months old. She was more interested in walking than talking.
One of my older kids was also a late walker. He was (still is!!) a perfectionist. So he walked late--but he didn't take a first *step*--he crossed the room. He talked late, but in full sentences.
Every baby is different. If your daughter is developing in *some* area, even if slower than the "books" all say (she may not have read them), then don't worry. If she isn't developing at all, then ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist.

Don't worry.....it's better to crawl for a longer period.....as this is a part of healthy learning.
I would worry more if the baby goes straight from sitting to walking....as some brain memory might left out something during the crawling period (this was told to me by a child trainer)..
But also watch-out if your kid still didn't walk by 3rd year...there might be other problems..

I wouldn't worry. Kids do different things at different times. I suspect yours is within normal range, but getting to the edge of the bell curve. Some kids never crawl. I would check with your doctor if you are worried.
There is a great joke about an adult who never talked until something his parents did upset him. He spoke, to complain. When asked why he had not spoken before he answered "Until now, things have been entirely satisfactory.

She is still in the normal stage. A little friend of my son's didn't crawl till 12 months. My son didn't crawl, he bum shuffled, sitting up he would pull himself along with his feet. Both boys walked by 16 months and are bright, advanced children.

as long as she seems to be developing at the rate expected she should be fine. Also I know if she is advanced other ways (speaking more then babies her age, more muscle control etc.) she may delay the crawling, mine crawled at 9 mths, walkd at 15mths and no problem. Just encourage her (place toys just out of reach on the floor, a cheerio a few inches out of reach etc)and thank goodness your not running all over after her ...YET

my son is 14 months old n he started crawlin whn he was about 12/13 mths old n stil lhavent start walking
every baby is different they take their time she will crawl/walk whn she is ready dun be worried too much maybe u can play wit her and allow her to move more on her own and before u noe it she will crawl n walk
so dun worry so much and maybe u can also talk to ur doctor if it makes u comfortable...
give those soft balls which she can hold n move around to catch it as it increases her movement n whn they really like to move around they will learn that crawling or walking is much easier n faster..
they learn very fast so give her time n she will crawl/walk when she is ready
and again dun worry :))
