Ok this is how you can do it by counting days. When you first start you period that is day one so 14 days after you start you period that is the best day to try and conceive. Or you can go to your local drug store and go to the isle that has the pregnancy tests and get a test that is for your ovulation. Its tests using your saliva.

Start counting from the day you start your period. Count the days with the day you start being day 1. Days 10-18 are days for you to have unprotected sex. Ovulation is usually around day 14, but can vary by woman so they suggest days 10-18. Also sperm can live inside a woman for 3-5 days, so it's best to try before you ovulate. Also if your man has a low sperm count try intercourse on days 10,12,14,16,18, otherwise if he is normal, every one of those days is fine. Signs you may be ovulating would be a creamy discharge around the time (that is similar to a man's semen), and possibly a pain in one of the places of your ovaries. Hope this helps. Here are 3 good website I look at quite frequently. My husband and I are trying to conceive right now too. Good luck! Hope these help you.

Figure out how long your cycle is (1st day of period till 1st day of next period) then figure roughly halfway through the cycle then you should have about a week that you would be the most fertile. Also I got pregnant in middle of october which works well in michigan (not gigantic and preggers walking on ice and also not gigantic and preggers in the dog days of august!!! baby will be born between middle of june and middle of july so keep that in mind if you live in an area with that different kind of weather!! GOOD LUCK

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released. That is the best time to try.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
