help with pokemon sapphire (gym)?

Question

im having problem with the 5th gym (normal type) im using a lvl 33 marshtomp
pls dun say tt im in the lowest point of life or life is short so get a live or say pokemon is gay. im only 11 and pokemon is popular in singapore

ok let me give you a sure shot way to beat you father in gym number 5. go to the city where the rock gym is and there should be a house with a guy who is trading his fighting type pokemon. get it and train it up until it learn a good fighting type move. plan B: go to the island with the fighting gym and catch a fighting pokemon in the cave and train it (which would be longer) until it is at a worthy level. and good old plan C: since it is popular in singapore trade one of you pokemon for a machop and train it up and go to the gym and it will be a breeze. If you decide not to follow these then i would say train up your pokemon a little bit more because that gym will wipe the floor with you. take it from me i am a Pokemon Veteran.

if your marshstomp is the only higher level pokemon in the group then i suggest you level up your other pokemon give any 1 of them the exp share item it will level it up a little faster but it slows down as you get into the higher levels.good luck on your pokemon journey :) and pokemon isn't gay i'm playing pokemon emerald right now.
