He is not a terrorist nor a liar, and he was elected by his people and it is iran internal problem to choose their leaders, but the problem is that STUPID bush said if u r with us or against us, so anyone who is not with him he is terrorist and liar, and they start telling the whole world and convincing people about things that r not true at all, and i think the terrorist is the one that giving israel weapons now to israel so they bomb lebanese citizens or palestanians citizens, and the liar is the one who lied to all the world and said their is chemical, nuclear weapons in iraq and invaded iraq for oil only.
Ahmad Najad is a Great leader and they tell u he is liar or terrorist because he is not like other stupid arabic leaders, that agree with america and listen to what bush and israel tell them.
And he is elected by the iranian people, but to bush their is no democracy, for example hamas was elected by the palestians people, and the whole world said it was a fair and democratic elections, but as i said,to bush either to be with him or against him, if u r against him u r terrorist and a liar, and u want to invade the world and everything, while he and his dog israel killing thousandssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Though I am in no way a supporter of the Iranian regime, I think it's wrong in a way to say that democracy is not applicable there.
At least not democracy "the american way".
Ahmadinejad has been democratically elected (beyond me, but....). A majority of people must have agreed with his program.
Now, we all know a lot of officials get themselves elected and then disappoint their people, no different here in our country.....
Besides democracy as the Americans see it might not be what is right for other countries. You have to take in account different cultures, customs, thousands of year of tradition that you can't change in just a few years. America did not become a democracy overnight either.

All politicians are liars - it's a matter of whom you choose to believe - many would prefer to believe in the western world-type democracies rather than dictatorial (DPRK, Cuba) or theological democracy like Iran.
The people in Iran and Palestine have decided their destinies by their choice of leaderships; and by their choice, they have sent a message to the world. Iran and Syria sponsor terrorists organisations in Lebanon, Palestine and elsewhere - therefore they cannot be internationally acceptable as responsible states.

thats the problem! a democratically elected president in an anti-american policy country is HUGE problem and must be dealt with. its not the first time that it happened in iran. president mohammad mossadegh who by the way was democratically elected and very popular nationnalist leader to the iranians. he wanted to nationalize the british oil company (BP tday)coz they were exploiting iranian national resources and its people. britian wasnt happy happy about it, so it sought help from its strong WWII ally the united states; however, military solution would have ignited a 3rd WW, since russia would have allied with iran. So instead, they sent in a CIA agent Kermit Roosevelt (Theodore's grandson) to over throw the iranian president through bribes, violence, threats and eventually he went down.
this practice isnt new at all. similar events took place in panama (president Omar Torrijos), soudi arabia (king faisal), ecuador's (Jaime Roldos), venesuela's (Hugo chaves).......etc
there are living examples today, where similar actions are taking place like in venezuela (P.hugo chavis), Bolivia (P.evo morales) and ofcourse iran's president mohammad Najd.

The people's choice was correct but the President chosen could have abused his position until democracy was ruined.

In that case a democracy or not is not the problem. I think Mr Bush needs to analise his own countrys problems and not be scared of what he thinks everyone else is THINKING of doing. Double standards are alive and well.
