I thought a Troop is "A group of soldiers"... Your News Headline stated " Hezbollah fighters kill 9 Israeli troops"...
Isn't this ststement incorrect?

Troop is two or more soldiers.
Trooper is one soldier.
Also applies to law enforcement IE "State Trooper"

TROOP is a single soldier.
