" The Little Caterpiller "
Once upon a measure there was a little caterpiller who wondered
what life was all about. It wiggled & crawled all through the tall grass looking for answers. On top of a blooming dandelion sitting atop a yellow flower buzzed a busy bee. " Oh " said the caterpiller, " can you tell me what life is all about? "
" oh, well " said the bee, i'm gathering pollen so i can buzz over to the pistils of flowers and pollinate them, to fertilize flowers so they bloom with colours of natures patterns, thats what i do!"
" can't say as i know what you do ! " spoke the busy bee ..
" well, " said the caterpiller, " i'm always hungry !! "
" hmmmmmm .. " said the bee .. " then go eat and leave me beeee! " So off went the little caterpiller, eating and wondering what his purpose was in life .... Then the little caterpiller saw some ants all in a line moving very quickly, back and forth as busy as the bee ..... " excuse me worker ants" " can you tell me what life is all about? " " say " said an ant, " can't you see we are very hard at work !!, we need to gather whatever we can find for our garden, food for our queen, we all have different things to do for our queen! " " go away !! we have things to do now !! " so the ants continued their busy day and poor little caterpiller went off into the forest, sad and confused. " Oh my " thought the caterpiller, " what am i to do, all i do is eat and eat ......
As the sun started to rent away its light the little caterpiller crawled up a tree trunk and made a place to bed down for the evening. " oh gee," said the little caterpiller, what am i to do, "
Then, one day the shell of the caterpiller was all empty !!
The cocoon of silk was an empty envelope of way, and the little caterpiller was no where to be seen, But there on top of a flower stood a beautiful butterfly, wings spread wide and colours bright,
" Oh my !! " said the butterfly, " look at me !! " i've changed into a butterfly! " So this was my purpose in life, " to eat all day long as a little caterpiller so i could change into a butterfly ...... "
" haha " thought the butterfly, " it seems we all have purpose "
" we just have to be patient and see what nature unfold for us "
So off flew the butterfly, happy and content in knowing that everything has purpose in natures ways ... Even little hairy caterpillers .........
