Anti-Iraq invasion does not follow that you are anti-soldiers. People just misinterpret that you are disliking the military. You are just against the issue on Iraq but not against the soldiers being fielded thereat. You have a good point.

I don't know....I think it's some sort of emotional tactic to try and get those who are against the war to support the war.
I'm with you....I may not agree with the war but that doesn't mean I don't care about the troops. If anything the troops (and other people involved) are a large reason why I don't support the war....I don't think anyone should die going to war for questionable reasons.

Not everybody assumes that. I don't. However, I do have a problem with the war protesters who say that soldiers are "dying for nothing" in Iraq. That is the worst thing one can say to a soldier. They aren't "dying for nothing", they're serving their country! Whether one agrees with the war or not, there's no denying that these men and women are serving their country, and doing their job.

You know, I am against the war. But they can't chastise me; I am a decorated Vietnam War veteran.
The fact is, Bush had no reason to go to war. If you notice, when he answers a question, he knows more than anybody else. It gripes my A$$ that he thinks he is the ever knowing. Oh my God, I hate it when he shakes his as if he is Billy Bad A$$.
The fact is, congress had better tie Bush's blood stained hands, or they will be finding themselves out of a job.
I invite Americans to vote against anybody who supports Bush, whether it is a senate or congress race.
Speak up America; let your vote do the talking.

I don't think everyone assumes that. The anit-war movement during the sixties and seventies made a huge strategic error when they came up with the "baby-killer" stuff and spit on returning soldiers. Rightly or wrongly, we still live with the fallout from that attitude today.

I don't think that at all.
I PREFER more dissent. Dissent keeps people honset.
However...... I don't think people like Code Pink or International A.N.S.W.E.R. really respect the troops.

These people are un-thinking idiots. They do it to try to 'shut you up' so that other people won't hear your views
