Using water, how can one distinguish beween the white solids of KCl and PbCl2?

KCl is FAR more soluable in water.

Cool your water to just a few degrees Celcius

Dissolve the solids

The one that dissolves is KCl. The PbCl2 will not dissolve, or will dissolve hardly at all.
