Everyone is so quick to say no, but it is a bodily fluid. Theorically, even if there is only a tiny amount of HIV in tears (and there can be) -if your immune system is very weak you can get it that way. Sometimes Mono is also found in tears.

It is highly unlikely but still possible to get something from licking someone's tears.

As to licking tears "medically speaking" it is very very dangerous,
HIV-AIDS virus has been found in tears particularly. It's a body-fluid transmitted thing.
