H2 is a colourless gas. It burns when it gets released to the atmoshphere (but be careful - H2 burns without a flame). You can conduct some tests for confirming the release of H2.

H2S is a pungent gas with a rotten egg smell. It is also a toxic gas. You can test it with Starch for its presence.

H2 gas when exposed to flame it fire with a blue color and with a sound , but H2S gas has the odor of rotten eggs.

There are other more erudite ways of distinguishing them such as cooling them to find boiling points/ spectroscopy/ etc. but just smell them and you will know the difference
