I asked a question a coupe of days ago as my period is late;

"Can caffeine withdrawal affect your periods?"

Since then, i took another pregnancy test (negative) but i am now over a week late on my period and had a fortnight of cramping. I was wondering if the weather could play a part in my late period? I usually feel grumpy with a headache before a storm so i know the weather can affect my body that way, but can the heatwave and storms upset my hormones??

Before anyone asks, i am seeing the doctor again in a couple of weeks so YES I WILL ASK MY DOCTOR as well, i'm just curious to see if it affects anyone else like this??

Yep, at least with me. Before I went on the pill, my period was regularly a week late each turning of the seasons. I.e., four times each year. And that is a _week_ late each time. So I'd think it would be more or less within norms. (I know some women get pendulum-precise periods. I was not among them...)

Thank you for asking this question! I have same symptoms and was just asking myself this very question this morning. I can't find anything about it on the internet, though. Perhaps it has something to do with stress hormones and dehydration.

Um, I don't know but it could be stress. My periods always go haywire when I'm under pressure.

You can be late due to the weather, or the things you eat.... don't worry about it.
