They're called Band-Aid Scar Healing Strips. This is a new product that is supposed to reduced the sight of scars. I have no idea if it really works. I just heard about it the other day.

This is the #1 physician recommended product for scars resulting from surgery, burns, accidents, injuries, acne and stretch marks.
My mom had a quadruple by pass and it left a very ugly scar from her throat to her navel and they removed a vein from her leg to use in replacing the one they took out of her chest that also left an ugly scar. She used maderma, after the first 4 weeks of use the scars had faded a lot.and were barely noticeable after 3 months you had to look really close to even see a trace of a scar.It will also remove freckles, age spots and some birth marks and stretch marks.

Nothing will work within 2 weeks, trust me. I have a few scars from various accidents, but the only thing that helps is mederma, it lightens scars, but takes a long time to work. With new scars it will take 4-6 weeks, with old scars it will take 8-12 weeks. If it works.

Vitamin E helps, but there are more expensive ways of scar removal such as plastic surgery. Surgery to make scars less visible using various techniques such as Z-plasty or W-plasty. I recommend Dr. David M. Amron, M.D., he works in Beverly Hills and his speciality is Liposuction and Cosmetic Dermatology so here's a link to his page:

Hope this helps.

Try Bio-Oil or if you have a bit more money, Clarins does a yellow oil that is fab for removing scars and stretchmarks.
