This is what happened in my dream (what I can remember of it) :

I passed 2 people - a man and a woman - they had a small animal in their hands and were throwing it about to each other.

I was jealous and wanted my own - i threw my sunglasses in the air and they came back to me as a magpie but the magpie managed to flew off.

Then i caught a robin redbreast and then two people said, 'Wow a robin redbreast'

I was looking for somewhere for it to live but i came past a little dark shelter which I decided not to go in for some reason.

I held the robin all the way home and it didn't try to bite me - just struggled a bit in my hands at first but then was okay.

When i got home, the robin was dead in my hands - I put some wine on it to try to wake it up - it opened its eyes briefly but it was still dead.

Also Some guy out of Hollyoaks said to me: 'My hair on the tv looks blonder - they keep making it blonder and blonder - they should just keep it brunette how it is now'

A interesting Dream, and maybe I should give my simple interprtation. There are a number of common themes in this scenario, firstly the reference to animals (cute and fuzzy) there is also reference to a magpie and most interesting the Robin. There is also reference to couples, a man and a woman. Lastly, without knowing what hollyoaks is, Im going to treat that as Static as you will and not relevant to the overall theme or Is not needed for interpretation.

The animals are representative of something precious, primarily the small creature (Im going to say Squirrel for ease) and the Robin. Firstly the Squirrel in the hands of the couple is something that you are envious of, wish you had (by your later aquisition of the Robin) yet once have struggle to maintain, and yet no matter how hard you try you either fail to keep it or you feel you cant.

In this case Im going to say a relationship your in, or wish you had a relationship. I am actually going to guess at the former, that the addition of wine is a romancing element, which fails. If Im wrong perhaps you feel no matter how hard you try you will not be fufilled.

The Magpie is curious, the sunglasses in the air seems some sort of freedom is desired, a magpie is a well known scavanger, perhaps you feel if you do open up that whatever freedom you felt will be taken. On the contrary the fact that you want it so badly and the magpie flew off seems to be indictative of wanting to be connected freely to someone (glass to bird- transformation), I am more in favour of the later interpretation.

The red breast of Robin is the plummage of a maleand display, perhaps you have had rocky relationships in the past (who hasnt) but things have worked out sour despite your best efforts of romance. In the other case such plummage is a certain attractivenes a male can exhibit over a female (Im being as polite as possible here)

It has already been said that insecurities are represented in dreams, based on problems with our past, present. So I stand above all the points I have made, except one tiny doubt. Sometimes dreams reflect the opposite of truths, our fears rather than truth. In that case, have you started a new relationship. In this scenario I am not certain that a new relationship would be sufficient reason for the dream. I say you think you need to have a relationship to be socially acceptable to others. The magpie can idicate theft, but I am not sure that this is a correct interpretation in this scenario in regard to the trasformation, sun glasses suggest removal of the shel. On the other hand the Robin is gaining something for nothing, and in that case the interpretation may stand with a logical aftermath. I will still stand by my own interpretation, while open to the possibility of the ones above. Perhaps out of my own bias in favour of Magpies....

I hope I have at least been partially correct, but without knowing you I think Ive tried my best

The man and woman are icons of the standard relationship ideal and the small animal the way they addressed their relationship. small animals usually come into the home and are nurtured they showed a very playfull attitude about their relationship.

You were jelous of their realationship. Thowing your sunglasses in the air is probably symbolic of something personal that you once gave up for a realationship and what it brought you was a "magpie" (scavenger) that did not stay with you.

The robin is symbolic of another relationship that you may have had. someone you "caught". the amazement shown by the couple signifies that this was someone you were proud of simply because of the way this person presented himself. You looked for shelter maybe building a life with this person, someplace dark manifesting you realization of the superficiallity of the relationship. You decided to take this person home, but even though there was nothing necisarily wrong with this person you tried to change him. when you got home "found yourself" you realized that this was no longer the same person, you may have gone back to this person after the relationship was over but it didn't work out.
the statement on hair colour reinforces the fact that although you are ready for a serious relationship you are no longer willing to compramise who you are and that you are not interested in a superficial mate. it all leads back to the two people with the small animal.

or it could just be something you ate.

Why are you so concerned about your freedom? Did you know that in the north of this country, robins are treasured? And in the southeast the robin is dreaded for a crop destroyer? Some people seek to kill robins there.
Some one close to you has a disrespect for life. For some reason, you respect this person's reasoning. Get this person out of your life before you are thoroughly caught up in this darkness.
The man who dyes his hair wants to be some kind of TV celebrity, but for reasons known to him, he lies to you.
You can change all this stuff by looking in your life for someone who is constantly putting you down and eliminating that communication. Just walk away and do not look back. You will be really fine.

To see a magpie in your dream, signifies dissatisfaction and disagreements and that you need to be careful of what you say and do.
To dream that you are wearing sunglasses, indicates your poor perception. You tend to see the dark or negative side of things. Perhaps you don't want to see or be seen.
To see a robin in your dream, represents new beginnings and time for growth
To see a blond person in your dream, suggests that you need to enjoy life and live it up. Be a little glamorous.

To dream that you dye your hair blond, indicates that you literally need to lighten up and quit being so serious all the time. Try to be more upbeat.

To see or dream that you are a brunette, indicates that you need to be more down to earth. It may also be symbolic of your sultriness and smoldering sexuality.

Hope this helps

The fact that you dream with birds in general means that you have a great need for freedom. You were chasing your freedom in your sleep but flew away then it died, despite the fact that you tried to revive it.
Is there somebody or something you need to break away from?
Alternatively, to see a magpie in your dream means dissatisfaction and disagreements and that you need to be careful of what you say and do. whereas seeing a robin in your dream means new beginnings and time for growth.

Hmm... a couple has something you want (could it be a relationship?) There's a dark place you don't want to go, which could be something you don't want to think about or face up to. The robin: have you got into a relationship that hasn't been working out the way you'd expected? Then another couple proclaiming love: that seems to be the theme of your dream.
Making any sense to you?

Do a search.

I think though that dream interpretations are regional and specific to an individual, for example you poured wine on the bird, an interpreter might say, blood of jesus, blah, blah.
BUT, maybe YOU don't like wine, maybe you're an atheist, maybe you thought that alcohol would clean a wound!
So who can really tell you but yourself!
You can only get a loose idea from an interpreter who doesn't know you!

Thats what I think anyhow!

The dream you had seems to be one manifestation of your desires of things that other people have and you dont,
Firstly they were playing with something you dont know, a small animal perhaps, secondly your wish that you had one was granted and lo and behold u had a magpie then a robin,
meaning you dont know what u want, but u still want it,

Let's focus the dream on the process.

You first passed 2 people, then you encounter robin.

In your dream, you meantioned jealousy. It may not be true in reality. You proably desire something more than what you see.

Companion!!

Notice that you have indirect interation with people and then direct interaction with the bird - robin. Then 180 degree switch to another guy to praise you.

In conclusion, you need attention and companion. You may feel lonely in reality. You projected that story to tell you that indeed you need someone to praise you and someone to be with you.

You have recently gotten something you wanted but for the wrong reasons.

The man and woman represent ........I see as kids playing keep away. You actually got something better, or something you perceived as better. And you lost that to get something that made others envious of you.

You could have taken a different path, but you found it not desirable. You said it was a shelter, but found it dark. Are you getting it?

Because of that choice, you 'killed' the positive thing. You tried to salvage the situation, but it is over.

Thus the conclusion...........should have stayed brunette........you did something to be better, or have the better, and it turns out you should have been happy with what you had. You kept looking or striving for something better, and ended up with something worse.
