The only thing I find more annoying than people randonmly mocking questions, is the seemingly increasing amount of psuedo-intellectuals who try and answer questions they clearly have just picked up a few buzz words about in GCSE Physics, but otherwise couldn't tell the difference between a molecule and a monocle.

I'm not averse to the odd jovial comment or two just to make life happier, but if I think it's a serious question and I KNOW a sensible answer, then I'll try to give one. I got one yesterday from somebody who hasn't even got the guts to put his e-mail address on screen, yet when giving a facetious answer to a question when I've already said that I've tried everything I know he went on to call me "bonehead", thinking he was being very clever, isn't that right "THE GRANNY-ATOR"? so anybody who gets one of HIS answers shouldn't attach too much credence to it!

Some people try to get noticed even when a question is out of their league. How? By trashing it.
Just ignore them and move on to the next sensible answer.

They lack understanding and brainpower usually. Anyone can answer in a stupid or rude manner. Takes a little more thought to come up with a proper answer to a proper question. There are too many stupid questions on here as well.

Its called not been intelligent to give a good answer and not knowing when a question needs a serious answer or can be answered with a bit of wit.

Because they are sad little tossers who don't have the guts to insult anyone in real life, so they hide behind the internet. A site like this is perfect for these creeps because it's totally anonymous.

Sometime they are just being flippant, I'm flippant sometimes, but I would not knowingly be nasty to people, unless they really get my back up, but the worst I would say is Get a Life or Weirdo, or boring, or go somewhere else.
Don't take it personally, people only have the power to upset you if you let them.

I have found most of the time they haven't read the question properly, either that or they are just a bit too thick to offer a decent opinion.
