In Penang go to the Comtar Center. It's the only high rise so anyone can direct you to it easily. That's in the city's center.
In KL Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest buildings in the world, contain malls. They're excellent.
I didn't go to JB.

in JB there's a new mall, aeon tebrau or sumtin like dat. i'm not sure if it's open yet. in kl, bukit bintang and klcc. penang, gurney plaza and komtar.
