a case has been filed by my parents stating that i cannot marry under the special marriage act as i registered in my area and not of the girls side . If this is true how to overcome this issue.

i have been living in india scince 1985 in 2006 i got married under the speical marrige act to an indian muslim girl .I have to add that my parents are indian origin and hold an indian passport , When canada regonises dual citizency how can a case be filed for nuliity of the marriage by my parents

I can see that the marriage laws in India are different. I thought that most marriages in India were arranged. You're fighting your own society. Looks like your parents have all the power positions. In that case, I think you should wait a couple years. Then move back to Canada, and get married there.

Yes muslim men can marry christians. The marriage would be content if they respect each others faiths. Muslims believe in and respect the injil (bible), they believe it was real but has been altered by man over the centuries. So the muslim boy should have respect for the christian girl. But she should have respect for his muslim faith like not eating pork, let him pray 5 times a day and not playing music or interupting him when he is praying, let him be the leader of the household because in Islam the man is the head of the household, and celebrating his muslim holidays with him. It would work just like any other marriage, religious obligations aside.

Your questions is not that clear to understand.Anyway if you loves this wife of your then don't start the issue of Christian & Muslim again.Fly back to Canada to get yourselves married since you are a canadian.It's your own issue nothing to do with your parent unless you need their .............. support.For me I would rather be a human than a robot.
