Use the built in program "Sound Recorder"...

Access by START-->RUN-->sndrec32

You must attach a cable from your cassette player to the "line in" port of your sound card (some are built in to motherboard)...

Use your "sound mixer" controls (under RECORD) to adjust the levels.

Play around with the settings on short recordings until it sounds correct, then do a longer recording.

The controls are pretty self-explanatory, just takes a little experimenting to "get it right"

first of all u have to get a sotware specialised in line-in recording like All Sound Recorder or jet audio, because the default windows sound recorder doesnot record beyond one minute. next since you want to record audio cassetes , a good quality audio cassete player will be needed that have contols and an equaliser ( set the equaliser to lowest decibel for better recording). any other player will be suffice but quality will be compromised. now get a cord with 3.5 mm stereo pins at both the ends[to join the output jack of cassete player to line in jack of computer ]. then install the software and in the settings set the record mode to "line-in" wheerever you may find that in the settings.
start rolling the cassete in the player and start the software in the computer ; keep the vol. low that shall remove audio tape noises .
confirm by playing the clip that every thing is going right
repeat that for whole tape and make stops whenever the song in the player stops to make separate files of different songs in the audio tape.
wishing best of luck for the project
