Yeah that is pretty bad. The worse that I've heard though is a gay male (a few years ago) who had the HIV virus actually went on a talk show and said that it was his victims job to ask him if he had any STD's or the HIV virus... he said it was there responsibility to protect themselves Though he has a bit of a point it was trully and evil thing for him to knowingly infect so many men and then turn around and say they did it to themselves...

I personally think it should be illegal. I've been seeing those commercial where the people say i'm really trying hard not to spread herpes and I find that just ridiculous. Honestly if it wasnt legal and there was a big enough penalty to be paid the disease might be abled to be wiped out. But if she keeps that up the girl is going to get herself killed anyway. Yes people should take responsibility and have safe sex but we all know it doesnt always work that way.

Herpes is contracted through direct skin contact (not necessarily in the genital area) with an infected person, and less frequently by indirect contact, in particular by sharing lip balm. The virus travels through tiny breaks in the skin or through moist areas, but symptoms may not appear for up to a month or more after infection. Transmission was thought to be most common during an active outbreak - however, in the early 1980s, it was found that the virus can be shed from the skin in the absence of symptoms. It is estimated that between 50% and 80% of new HSV-2 cases are from asymptomatic viral shedding.

We have to take responsibilty for ourselves, your friend didn't. It doesn't make what the other did ok but if she is going to trust somebody for the sake of a little passion then she is gullible, jeez with all the publicity of STD's how can one take chances?
I know, most think 'it wouldn't be me', and my sister in law thought that too-with her ex husband to only learn AFTER sleeping with him that he had AIDS.

BTW....
a common coldsore is herpes, it is called 'herpes simplex' and 98% of the human population has it lying dorment within them. It usually breaks out when the immune system is down so even you've probably got herpes

the guy could have used a condom... if she's low.. that guy's a dumb a*#*! hello?? he got it cause he wasn't careful.. and as if guys don't do that?? eewww.. that's what i believe in always being SAFE!!! hehehe

and if the girl knew she had herpes she should have warned him.. or if she was scared to tell him she could have at least asked that she wanted him to use a condom just to be safe..

it's either the girl did it on purpose.. however, we're still back to what i said the first time.. he should have worn a condom!!

I know a woman who has herpes and she NEVER tells her multiple partners...a majority of them have been married men.
Some people are very sick.

She probably thinks she is in control of the cycle of outbreak. It is not communicable if not in outbreak stage. She would never want to transfer the disease I am sure, but she should warn her lovers. Is she being low or trying to stay in control.

That sucks. but its his responsiblity to use a condom. Talk about it before having sex. But if she still with holds it, then she's not a really good person. Use a condom.
