I've had a rash on both my shins for the past few days - its not itchy and doesn't hurt, its like lots of tiny blood spots but quite faint - not a big red rash! I've started using Nivea moisturing oil instead of cream now so don't know if its an allergic reaction? Also shave my legs every other day?? Sometimes everyday depending on what I'm doing after work or what I'm wearing!!!! As i said, its not itchy and doesn't hurt, just a patch on both legs!! I know everyone has something weird with their body but...!

It could be prickly heat. Or excema. Then again, it could be a shaving rash. Try waxing or Veet to remove the hair to give your legs a break from shaving, and make sure you exfoliate to avoid ingrown hairs.
If you don't think it's the shaving causing it, try letting your legs have a bit of air now and then; don't always wear tights or jeans. If it is prickly heat or excema, hydrocortisone cream from the doctor will help.

OK it sounds like a reaction to the cream which can be intensified by the current hot spell that we are having. Easiest way to find out is to stop using the cream and see if it goes away. I am allergic to nivea but find that simple is the best moisturiser for my skin.

If it doesn't t may be razor rash - again give your legs a short break from shaving (you'll just have to wear trousers for a bit) and see if it subsides.

Finally, it is unlikely to be heat rash as it is normally quite itchy and painful if you scratch it and you say it isn't but you could try applying a cool fannel to the area and see if it helps matters.

Sounds like a shaving rash - you're taking the very top layer of your skin off every time you shave and your skin doesn't like it! Try shaving less, or get a wax so you don't have to do it so often, or even use Veet or something like this. It could also be your moisturiser - try Simple, without fragrance.

My legs go red and 'spotty' when I've been sitting on grass! So it could even be a mild allergy (if you've been sitting on grass, that is). Hope you get it sorted.

Ewww, and Coodies? lol, I don't think so. Relax. Like the first answerer said, try a few things. Maybe quit shaving a few days or a week. Wear pants to work. I think it's just a skin irratation caused by your razor or cream? Possibly if your water source has changed in the last few months? If none of those, STRESS? Job related changes? You must look at it yourself, no one can really answer except you. Good luck, have a great life. Ron

Could just be an allergic reaction but what you are describing sounds a bit like petichiae which are small blood spots that usually indicate some sort of blood disorder or clotting disorder. See a doctor to make sure.

Possibly a reaction to the cream.
After shaving, your pores are open so the change in cream is a likely cause. Go back to your original stuff for a week or so and see how you are then.

it's defo the oil, creates a type of heat rash! stop using it and try a dry skin cream but not immediatly after shaving! Good Luck.

probably a combination of shaving and using a new oil, which might not have the ph balance your skin needs the next time you shave use the cream you were using before and see if it happens again,

Probably ringworm. It is not really a worm, but a fungal infection. Real easy to get rid of. Ask a pharmacist for a ointment.
