I've heard in various places that olive oil is a great for the face. Is it true? And they say that it helps get rid of acne. I have combination skin and I am scared to try it. I am not sure if it will make me break out because of the fact that it is so oily. I only use oil-free products on my face to eliminate oil and get rid of zits so wouldn't olive oil just worsen the problem?

I don't have dry skin, it's more like combination skin.

i dont think so... I know they use tumeric but olive oil... I think you will end up getting lots of zits cause oily face can cause acne...

For combination skin, I do not recomend... use whatever is working for you now... use a clenser, softerner (instead of toner if your skin is not that oily) and a gel moisturiser.

Not necessarily. Sometimes skin is oily because when you wash it it dries out and your skin works overtime to correct it by producing too much oil. A nice, light oil, may be just the thing. Just remember not to use too much...

it is good for the skin, ive done it myself once because my skin was very dry and nothing else worked, i dont think it gets RID of ance, it shouldnt make you break out worse unless you have very sensitve skin. instead of using the olive oil just buy a normal moisturizer from clearsil, clean&clear, noxema etc.

Um...I would say no. But there is only one way to find out for sure is to try it out and if you break up bad just keep your face clean and drink plenty of water and toothpaste with help it clear up also it it breaks you out!

Not olive oil, sweet almond oil.

Sweet almond oil is good for the skin, if your skin is very dry
