Medieval times [middle ages].
This time period is extreamly interesting and seems so 'simple' in many ways. I like that people had to work to get the things they needed and also knew disipline. I feel like these people had a better understanding and apperication for life due to the lack of knowledge that we have today. By this I mean, in those times your family was priorty. Things like gambling, drugs, media were not an issue like they are today because they didn't have the things we do today, and if they did, it was in a simple form. They didnt have they worries we do today. Just the simplicity [in more ways than one] of this life seems appealing to me.

I was born in 1980, but I would rather have been born in either 1920, so I would have been the right age to serve the U.S. in WWII, or being born in 1960 would be cool too, then I could have been a teen in the 1970s and my age now in the 80s. I was alive almost all through the 80s, but really to young to appreciate it!

I wouldn't want to be born any sooner than I was...1985. I'm glad I didn't live in the 60's or 70's when racism and sexism was even stronger. I like being a modern woman!
PS- Randi!!! I TOTALLY agree with you about the 80s. Glad I can say I was there, but glad I wasn't old enough to dress myself!!!

The war had just ended, the swinging sixties would have gotten into full flow when I would have been 22, I would have lived the majority of my life without being involved in major wars. I would now be looking forward to an imminent retirement and be looking back on a life rich and full.

I'm glad I was born in 1983. I was around for the awesome 80's, but not a teenager....wow their clothes were hideous, but the movies, music, and actors were awesome!!! I got to see the turn of the century and millennium.

Early 80's. I've always been obsessed with the 80's and loved everything. I wish I could say "I'm an 80's child!".
