Entirely by accident....I happened to see the words "Yahoo! Answers" while I was checking my email on Yahoo! and surfing the web one day so I decided to sign up....it started out as somewhat of an escape for me, but then it became something more than that...I have met a lot of wonderful people here that I believe I might not have met otherwise.

By clicking the wrong link...there was a story last week or was it earlier this week...about a chimp entering the World Series of Poker...anyway, one link brought me here, I started answering some questions, and now I pop in and out on a semi-regular basis...I think I looked at it a few weeks ago just to see what it was, wasn't all too interested then, but it does have a tendency to grow on you...anyway, I have a ton of what I thought was useless info and trivia in my head, and it's nice to pass it on to someone that could use it...

Seriously though, I am a longtime Yahoo user and I noticed it one day, and then I spilled dye on the hardwood and came here to ask how to fix it. I am now stuck on the couch because I had knee surgery and can't walk, so I answer questions like crazy!

I got a message from Yahoo saying that if I used this site, I might win a trip to Germany for the world cup...yeah...I don't think I won...but I got hooked!

Someone asked a question that no one answered for weeks. I knew the answer and I had to join in order to answer it. Once i joined, I got hooked. And the most annoying things is, that first question that drew me here...the person deleted it after I answered! Sigh.

I saw the Bonno question on my messenger and so I answered it and that is how I discovered Yahoo answers. Been on it ever since.
