For a number of reasons... fall out of love - fall in love with someone new - realize the differences between them are greater than the similarities - maybe one figures that they're holding the other back, they just grow tired of each other....
I'm sure there are other reasons too!

I dont know but its very unfortunate that we break away from the person we love. Its all tears and sorrow.
I wish lovers never brokeoff but continued to be together because the beauty of love is very beautiful and soothing. Its a feeling like no other. so satisfying.....just the presence of each other.
lovers may break up but the fragrance of that love that continues forever even long after the lover has gone......
