I have become suspicious of a number of participants in this forum and wonder if anyone else has noticed what I've noticed. I just responded to a question from someone claiming to be an American jew who was ashamed of what Israel is doing. I checked his other questions and answers. He's made other posts related to black-white issues. I believe this guy is a hardcore bigot playing reverse psychology. I've noticed what seem like set-up (prearranged) questions where an obvious bit of propaganda is given as an answer and I suspect the questioner and answerer are conspiring. I've seen people using a black face avatar ask a question insulting to whites but suspect the person was white himself hoping to incite angry responses by whites. I've been researching suspicious questions and who is asking them, and other questions and answers they've posted and come to the conclusion that this forum is full of people attempting to influence opinion by misrepresenting themselves. more

I've noticed this a lot in both politics and military categories. Often times related to war issues. I don't like this I have no problem debating those I disagree with, but I get very uncomfortable when I'm being played.

I should have known better than to expect anyone here would notice this.

mad john I understand that and realize people can be whoever they want here but i think MOST of us assume that an opinion offered is the persons true opinion, and not one given to put a bad light on someone they are pretending to be.

I'm afraid it would be naive to believe that everyone participating in these forums is giving true information about themselves and posting their true beliefs. Posting on Q&A forums inflammatory rhetoric has become a recreational past time for a whole bunch of freaks. Is it a coordinated conspiracy, probably not...just sad people with way too much time on their hands.

Well of course there will be people who lie and try to inflame. I do the latter myself, but not under any guise. I want to know who these people are and what people are thinking. (After the last two elections I was quite dismayed at the lack of thinking in most humans) But this is an entertaining forum. And should be, for the most part, used as such.
I find it troubling that people find it necessary to hide or lie but that is done just as much in person as it is done here on the web. You want some real tall tales check out the dating sites. Anyway, have fun, there are a lot of very interesting people on here also. Find them and then the bigots won't bother you as much. Happy hunting. Peace

there is not any longer one shred of knowledge (consisting of how the homes collapsed) to point something yet a set of islamic fundamentalists hijacking quite a few planes and flying 2 of them into the towers. Like maximum conspiracy theories, there are continuously those who can dream up all kinds of flaws and contradictions, yet those who trust contained in the large conspiracy that you're talking about (which comprise the theory that the U. S. authorities -- whoever that ought to comprise -- conspired to homicide thousands of human beings for his or her own evil ends) have the load of knowledge. to this point, they have arise with little or no, such as those that trust we under no circumstances landed on the moon. by the way, there's a lot of video of the planes hitting the towers, and special engineering analyze about why this can reason the towers to break down -- an experience, by the way, I witnessed first hand.

I've suspected the same in the political forum when it comes to partisan (Democrat/Republican) questions. It is alarming to me the large percentage of right-wing conservative extremist; I know they're out there, but the percentage of them in here is abberant. This would be a great site for any activists to wedge in their propaganda to the 15-30 demographic. This site would be perfect if you actually had to have a verified picture ID and some credentials to boot. I make it a habit at the beginning of some of my questions to openly and honestly state who I am when I think it affects my perspective.

Some of them are just out to get a rise out of people.
A very sad form of self amusement.
I think if more people looked more closely at the questions and not answer the suspisious ones for the 2 points, Answers would be a lot more gratifying.
