Skirts rather than trousers tend to make people look skinnier if you're worried about your legs. Try clothes that are a little bit loose fit, but not too much. Skin tight clothes will enhance your curves, some in good ways, others in bad ways, depending on the cloth type. You could just try on clothes infront of the mirror and see which you think suite you. It's better if you like it and are comfortable.

first of all it depends on what you feel better in. if your comfortable more power to you. dont wear anything so tight that is makes a little tummy hang over the top of the hem and make sure it doesn't show underwear lines. there is a bench in the dressing room, SIT DOWN after you check yourself out and the fit. just cuz it fits standing up doesn't mean its gonna fit just as well sitting down.

Both are okay as long as they suit your body shape, and not tight or wrapped around your body, wearing straight cut ones makes you look slimmer. Also, wear outfit with maximum 2 different colours that match with each other, try avoid too many layers/patterns.

i am kinda skinny, but when i see people who are fat but dont mind wearing anything, i find them smart and think they are cool. lots of confidence there...
