sorry to disappoint you, but you should probably have studied law , engineering or some other well paying job, not a biological subject, it is very unlikely that it ever will pay well (even if you get a PhD in it).
Also it is bloody expensive to live in the UK, the pay is not as good to offset the expense, especially if you plan ending up in London - look at a comparison of the most expensive places in the world to live...
In addition, unless you are a genius, you will be better off not having a time consuming part time job in your 3rd year. Your school work will suffer, either you will take much longer or you will get worse grades. If you get bad grades, you will find it much more difficult to find a job.
If your main interest in job is how much it pays, research pay scales and choose a profession based on that. You could end up doing something you hate for the rest of your life though, but that's up to you to figure out what you want to do, maybe you find something which you even like.

my opinion:

any specific reasons you want to settle in the uk? I'm in the us, so my advice would be more cornered towards this nation.

if you really want to help out your parents and also have a great career yourself, try to go for graduate school in the USA. it is not easy, you need to do extremely well in your bachelors and masters before you apply. but its totally worth it, given the opportunities you can avail after you graduate ( finish grad school that is..).

your intention of taking care of your parents and helping them out is very nice, hope everything works out. try not to get too stressed out at this point though - keep focus and do your best, success will follow. good luck!
