The eko model 100 accoustic guitar, 1963 i would like to find out some more information on it, it is a six string, with f shape cut outs on the front.

It's an Italian built guitar which were originally budget models for beginner guitarists. They're mostly made of plywood but there is a real buzz for them at the moment and if you own one in good condition you're on to a bit of a gold mine. If they play well they can sound fantastic and a friend who has an EKO 12 String swears by it. I'm not over sure I've seen one of these models, most were shaped like dreadnoughts so you might have something a little rare and therefore more collectable there. There was a fire in the original factory at some point and guitars built before that fire are the best to get hold of. Unfortunately I can't recall the date of the fire at the moment, but you might be in luck with 1963. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
