Back in the 70's or 80's,
there was a late night TV show,
called "The Doctor Is In".
It was a guy that looked strangely
like early Leon Russell and
wore a top hat, sat in an easy chair
and mused about life, religion,
and other such things.
There was a 'house band'
that was pretty good.

I can't find anything
at all about this show.
Have you heard of it?
Know where I can see about it?

There weren't as many TV stations back then as there are now, so it might be easier to narrow it down. Maybe try to e-mail the TV stations? You know, 3,5,10,13,24,30 (I believe that's all we had and 10, 24 & 30 went off the air at like 10, right?). They may be able to help you figure out some of the details. That would be a good place to start, anyway.

I have no idea, but there is a show called "Is there a Doctor in the House?" from 1971.

The only info I've seen on it is here:

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0456479/

If that's the show you might be able to Yahoo or Google for more info with that title.

You can check the site www.retrojunk.com to see if they have any info on the show.
Good luck
