I am assuming you are a male or the groom. Are u Indian? I understand that in Indian culture, the bride's parents will pay the money. So, if you dont have enough money to buy or to get certain things done for the wedding, let him know so. (If that's what you meant in the question). If everything is going smoothly, tell him "Thank you, I appreciate your offer, but I think I got things under control, hopefully everything will be fine and thank you again. I will let you know if I need anything" . And better still, ask your bride to be if she needs anything done certain way, or if she has special request for the wedding. You may also ask this to your father in-law. (

Tell him to help you save money for a divorce because you really don't know someone after two months. Are you desperate? Why don't you go back to school, learn how to write, and take you time in getting to know your lover and yourself. Why waste time and money on a marriage that is doomed to fail. Do you know anyone who had a decent marriage after only two months of knowing each other. You don't even move in together after two months much less sign a legal agreement together.
