Right, if she was sooo insane at the time she comitted those 5 murders, why did she dial 911 after the fact that her murderous mission was accomplished? then today, hugging her lawyer after the verdict & trial, signifies that another mission has been accomplished (out to beat the system). yes, her husband seems to care less. It`s almost as though she did him a favor.

Well I know she`s insane now, to some degree, because she probably have night mares etc. may God have mercy on her soul, regardless. Thanks wunderkind for shedding a little more light on bi polar.

First of all Michael B. get a clue and watch the news. If you dont' know anything about it, why answer? Give me a break.

I think if she's crazy, then she should be put away in an institution for life. I also think her husband should go to jail for manslaughter. Several times he has said he knew she was dangerous and that she may hurt her kids. How did he protect them? He had more kids and left them alone with her all day and at night at times.

The people working in social services should also lose their jobs. They knew she was heavily medicated and the husband commented how she was a danger to the kids but nothing was done. Now these scumbags walk and 5 defenseless kids were tortured and killed. The system sucks and so do all of these people that let this happen.

I hate to say this but I believe that the jury acted in good faith when they said she was insane and be locked up in a hospital for the insane as long as it takes to get her back to normal. There is one thing that is wrong with all of this. If she suffers from a bi-polar disorder with psychotic overtones then she will NEVER be totally sane. If she stays on her medication forever she may be OK for most of the time. However, if she goes off her medication she can quickly return to insanity. I speak from experience because I was married to a woman who had a bi-polar disorder. She was in and out of hospitals on a continuous basis. She was really bad when she didn't take her medication. No control especially when she was manic. They should keep Andrea in the hospital for a long, long time.

It makes our justice system look like a total joke! Isn't part of the reason you go to jail so you don't ever commit the crime again? Giving her the chance to go to a mental hospital, get straight and be free someday still makes her a risk to society. I'd rather have somebody who knew what they were doing when they killed than have a psyco out on the streets.
Also, the jury did not know she would be going to a mental hospital, so essentially, they let her walk free because she was crazy!! Our whole justice system is a disgrace, which you can thank the scumbag lawyers and the jury who listens to them for. I'd drown the ***** myself if I ever saw her!

Justice is not blind. Only men get death for killing family members. As I see it someone that deranged can't be cured so just get on with it and put them down like a rapid dog. The same people who want to give her sympathy are the ones who release child molesters.

I was just watching a special on this story and had to change the channel. It makes me sick to my stomach. I think she should be tortured and burn in hell. NO WAY was this an illness. This was a crazy selfish b*tch that couldn't handle her life. People like her should kill themselves not their children.
If she really was "sick" then when she "came to" and realized what she had done, how could she live with herself. I would have slit my own throat by now!!!!

xxxxxxxxxx Texas has difficult juries. this isn't California. the lady is psychotic. it is chillingly unnatural for a mom to kill her little ones. If we gained't assume our moms, then what? Wasn't there some insane non secular attitude? She develop into going to steer the youngsters into evil, so she had to kill them first, then they could bypass to heaven? She is somewhat risky. perchance she ought to be finished besides. enable the indignant human beings have what they choose? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
