Becaue there is sin in the world, and with pleasure along comes pain. It's only for a lil while. My last son was 13lbs and 14oz. 29.5 inches long so I can tell you about pain.My labor was in my back the whole time with his big azz head and long azz feet. He's 9 yrs old now 135 lbs and 5'5 straight solid and wears a size 9 in men shoes

It's quite interesting actually: it goes back to Adam and Eve and Original Sin. When Eve made Adam eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, both of them disobeyed and were punished accordingly. It's from the book of Genesis

don't listen to what people say i am a mother and it doesn't hurt as bad as they say. it's something worth going though. just keep your mind off what is to come and enjoy it. don't fear the pain. It's over in a matter of hours

doesnt hurt if your a guy... everything up to the birth feels good to us... dealing with the brat for 18 years would be pretty painful though.... thats why I will never reproduce.
