Many Zionest Christians show a great deal of dedication and devoution to Israel (people/state). But if Jesus is a peace-loving god and is all about love and has sacrificed himself for us. Why would he condition his return to planet earth on the establishment of a state that is least to say "engaged in prolonged use of violence against other nation/nations, denied freedom to other nation, killed so many innocents in 12 reported massacers for whole villages -prior to independence declaration-, killed thousands of civilans in military assaults. Tortured "including bones breaking and nails pulling" people of other nation because they once (raised their national flag or threw stones or fired at occupation army)

Israel is a nation embedded with almost all religions and faith... it is a bedlam of religious activity eversince biblical times, struggling to outdo and outbest the other. it is the focal point of which may be known as a Holy Land.
knowing this, it cannot be claim as a new evangelical deity... rather call it as something like "the meeting point/venue where all religions/faith converge".
