I had the best time at the game today!!!!! It rocked. It was my 4th baseball game ive been to. & the first one that they have one while i was there so i was happpppy :) I was kinda disappointed about the root beer float thing, when i went in there there was no players making them, just their wives. I had Alex Chavez make mine! :) She looked so young! How old is she?! Anyone know!? Any secrets for next year? When the players are in there making them?

A's fan in New York City. It's tough surrounded by all these misguided Yankee fans. Born in Oakland and a fan since the late 60's. Sorry never had the pleasure of Root Beer float day though it does sound like fun.

I'm a fan of the A's, but I have zero information when it comes to the nuances of root beer floats (as it relates to the game of baseball).
On a more important level, I'm just hoping Beane can work his magic and get the team into the playoffs.

i live in South Africa and have played baseball since the age of 4 and now I'm now 20 and i really love the game. I have supported th A's my whole life and i really need to get myself a new A's cap. Jose Conseco was my favorite player even though i played second base and short-stop.
