How to deal with a self willed and regid boy who will not listen to parents?

Well this is growing up but you all ready knew this.

Each kid develops personality by whom they hang with so there's one start. ( Run some bad influences off ).

Usually when a child starts acting bad to the parents then something is going on in his life to make him act this way.

Depending on the age of the young man...Now were in the summer could he be bored school starts back real soon.

Find out want he likes and if its safe let him do it find distractions to take his mine else-where.

If a child starts this behavior and it cannot be stop there always programs...groups...which the parents can send him.

He my dislike them for it now but as he grows up he will start to understand sometimes this is best for the child before he goes out on his own.

how old?
Does he get everything he wants? Might be time to start taking things away.
Does he have too much idle solo time? Find ways to be more social.
Kids are often reflective of their parents. Explain things to him and treat him as a young person growing up to be an adult. Don't be his friend but be his parent instead.
