I live with my in-laws as they have not any male member in the family and my father-in-law lives in native village as he has to look after the farm and trees. I have an only son and all other members in the family and our maids are females. 2-3 days ago he took out his pennis and started showing it to everybody saying," see, what does I have, what does I have". Is he conscious about sex or does sex exist in human minds as fear or hunger do exist.

This is completely and utterly normal.
At this age they are learning about themselves, potty training is a big deal, they learn that they control themselves. Let him know to keep it private but don't make a big deal. Don't laugh, don't get upset, just say, "put it away" calmly.
Funny story.
The summer my brother was 2 he would get to hot in his clothes, take them off and run up to people, slap his "little boy part" onto anyone's (but usually women"s) bare legs, and yell "PING". For the life of all of us, we didn't know why, and he would laugh if we told him to stop. He finally quit on his own in a few weeks. To this day all we have to do to embarrass him is say "PING" and he blushes. Fun at restaurants

From expierence with my son, this sounds a little out of normal, but funny! I'm not suprised actually. Boys seem to have a facination with thier parts from an early age. Make sure you tell him not to do it again, but I wouldn't judge anything from it. He's only 2! They do some pretty silly things! This is about the age where they start to realize what they have. Unfortunately, sex is a basic part of human nature, just like hunger and fear. He doesn't quite understand that yet. I wouldn't worry too much. He's just a 2 year old boy and has a lot to learn! Good luck!

How old are you? This is not about sex at all. He's just exploring his bits. Playing, discovering and becoming fascinated. Tell him in your own words to put his john thomas away, that yep he has one and so does dad, but we dont show it around like this (ie this behaviour is not acceptable) because when he grows up it will be considered rude. Really unless the behaviour becomes prevalent i dont think it is anything to worry about. New dads, huh !

it's very normal. my cousin, who was 1 at the time, saw my uncle naked and actually noticed that she was different down there and poked his you know what.

he knows that they have vagina's and he has a penis and so he shows them how he's different. it doesn't make him wierd or anything.

Natural childhood curiosity about his body. It's not sexual (yet) and very innocent.
