Men see it in another way than women. The see it as a physical act while women see it as emotional. If a man is on a business trip and a beautiful woman comes on to him he will respond physically. It does take a lot of control for men to stay faithful to their wives. Women are not as likely to stray due to the emotional needs they have connected to sex.

It doesnt take alot of self control to love a woman. In the same token it doesnt take alot of self control to be devoted to that woman. Marriage is hard work, I mean beyond the courting years. There is give and take, and alot rekindling of the flame to keep the romance alive. I dont think it is simply a male issue, some females are permiscous as well.

I'm not a man but I think given the right circumstances and chances available, men will cave in and cheat.

no if you happy with your wife you don't need self control but that strong feeling of love , not to cheat her or hurt her thats it. if you are not happily married then only you look for comfort and relation and sex outside marriage
