Okay, well you have three choices:
1)Saline
2)Silicone gel
3)Cohesive Silicone Gel (gummy bear)
I'd personally go for the Cohesive Silicone gel (gummy bear) implants because:
1) If this type of implant reputures it won't leak, the gel stays firm.
2) It won't cause ripples as the gel is firm and not in liquid form.
3) They look more natural and give better shape.

I got mine about 4 yrs ago and they are saline. I would do it ten times over and do not regret my choice at all.
I am pretty sure the only way you can get silicone is if you have already had implants before and are having them redone or if you are getting them as reconstructive implants due to breast cancer or something.
They have a new one that is referred to as the gummy bear implant and it is similiar to...well, a gummy bear. It is soft and somewhat squishy, lol, but it can't leak. There is no actual fluid inside it. This may be your best choice as it is the newest kind of implant and can't break. Though saline won't harm your body it would suck to have one break and leave you with a deflated boob.
Also, go under the muscle and have them placed through the fold under your natural breast. You can get the best placement this way. Underarm can make them too far apart, nipple can leave you with a funny looking nipple scar and belly button may end up too low. A good dr can use any of these ways and have a good outcome tho.

I know a few people that have had breast implants. Two of them have had silicone and the most recent has had saline. Saline is supposed to be much safer, as if it leaks the body will naturally absorb it unlike silicone. You need to speak to a professional.

If breast implants is something you're sure you want to do...and have talked to a well-known plastic surgeon in your area, then it's definitely better to go with saline. If a saline implant were to burst, the contents are not toxic and will be absorbed by your body....but if a silicone implant were to burst, it would poison your body because the contents are considered toxic.

sometimes the body will see the implants as a foreign object and the white blood cells will "attack" the lining and the implant will expel the fluid into the body.
with that as a possibility, definitely saline, it is much safer. saline in produced by the body anyways, so the body wont see it as harmful.
Silicon leaking out into the body on the other hand could cause numerous problems from infections to cancer.
definitely saline.

i have implants,i love it! i prefer silicone, it's much softer, i used to have saline though.... saline is safer, silicone is better, more natural looking but i'm not sure that it's safe, it's a risk i'm taking for the sake of my vanity... also make sure he puts it UNDER the muscle....i have to tell u though, my friend has silicone n it leaked, went to her liver n her bloodstream, she started peeing blood n had a fever over 100... so think about that.. research a good surgeon on the internet, do background checks on them making sure for no malpractice suits or go w/someone ur friends recommend. good luck!

My girl just got silicone ones last week, from what she told me saline are softer and get shape quicker, but silicone will last longer!... and cing the amount of pain she went through i'd rather take silicone...
they look great either way... i've never seen her happier... good luck

Forget about breast implants, unless you want some breast cancer.
And by the way: this is not gonna increase your natural beauty. I don't think this will attract men (maybe it will make them stare at you for a few seconds, but touching is the crucial exam to pass) :)

i bought the ex a pair of saline but silicone has been approved for use again...
go the belly-button route...
see a PS and feel some, look at pics...
it's your body, look how you want.

SALINE IS THE BEST. You need to watch dr. 90210 or any show that tells you that saline is BETTER.
