Ok Guys...Imagine someone took your pockets away. Most women's clothes do not have pocket. And the few that do are rarely deep enough.
Now imagine your belt is just for decoration. The phone or anything else that you might clip to it can no longer go there.
So now you need a place for your wallet, keys, knife, cell phone, change etc.
Then add in thing most things women might need such as lipstick etc, some tissues, nail clippers, floss....
And if I didn't carry a purse, where would I put my MP3 player too

reason to carry handbag :
1. For showing off the branded bags!!
2. For keeping a lot of stuff like....make-up,wallet,mobile phone,keys,sanitary pad,pen,notes,also charm
3. For making a set with their outfit...

well, we carry knickknacks for prepping up and usual things. thats why we need purses. pockets are too small.
hmm...my handbag/purse has:
wallet
eyeliner
pens
mini mirror
cellphone
carkeys
sunglasses
napkins (whenever your smoothie spills while shopping).
spearmint gum
lipgloss
hand sanitizer
sometimes there's an iPod or a pint waterbottle in other people's purses. maybe a pepper spray or two.
i sometimes ask myself too about that. i can just carry my wallet and cell in my jacket when i go shopping but...i dunno...-shrugs-

nothing exciting. and by the way, the big money I don't carry in my handbag!!
A woman carries a handbag to keep her stuff there, like keys, medication, sunglasses, a miror and stuff.

mine usually nothing different from what boys carry. but I do not have back pocket on my trousers to put my wallet and mobile phone. I usually do not carry handbad in winter. I can put them in my coats pockets.
However a bag can be used to hit a person on head when he disturbs you.

Handbags have larger capacity then a mere wallet.
Wallet, handphone, cuticle cure, keys, tissue paper, coins....

We carry it cause we needa put tons of stuff in it that we dont wna hold by hand. so handbags make it easier & holds it all. in my purse, i would have:
chapstick
lotion
comb
mirror
wallet
cell phone
eyeliner
gum
lipgloss
pen

i hate purses but i sometimes carry one. i just put the usual stuff in it, wallet, car keys, cell, lip gloss or something. nothing exciting, sorry

we carry them, because we need them....i carry my cell, wallet, umbrella (in the winter - min you i have a tiny one that fits all my purses), sunglasses (in the summer), keys and occasionally make -up.
