Can someone tell me all about dbms?

I want to know all about developing an customised admin tool with the database. What all i will require from my end? give me the details in layman language and would like to know from A to Z about this. Pls help! Thanks

DBMS: Data Base Management System,
It's all about data and Data about data(meta data)

DBMS is a system that takes care about our data and concerns with following issues:

1) Redundancy (un necceary copy of same data)
2) Integrity
3) Security
4) Fast Response to User

If u want to devlop just a tool to communicate with data base (for admin purpose) then u do not need to concern with all above things.

for that u must need grip Administrative commands on Any particular database Such as,

- Create Users,
- Creat Roles,
- Assigning Permissions to them,
- Assign Space to paricular Data Base
and may things . . .
for this u have to Read some books for DATABASE ADMINISTRATION.

it runs in alot of issues, for alot of distinctive human beings, for alot of countless issues. i take advantage of it in statistical programs (SAS), yet that an offshoot.. i'm uncertain what database managers use to run it.. probable Oracle or something like that.. maximum folk use it as database storage, modifying, and retrieval.. in simple terms go searching on the internet, i'm advantageous there's a lot obtainable

it depends on wat you want to use there are very many softwares, MS access is the free ofshelf for all of them and you can use it to develop systems accoeding to your own specifications. you have to be having knowlegde in relational schema and other basic to work with relational databases. hope you suceed
