thanks for answering back my residences are only maybe 3 to 4 blocks away, i run dsl at one place and they weekend residence they do not have a phone or cable, i was told i could buy a wireless card and run it from the other puter at my weekly residence, i was just wondering if this is possible? kind of like using the 2nd puter like a portable laptop lol..just thought i'd ask as almost anything is possible these days, just hate being without my puter on the weekends, and can afford a laptop so trying to turn my 2nd puter into one..any ideas now lol

The computer that has the internet connection on it needs a wireless router hooked up to it, and the computer that doesnt have the internet connection but needs one, needs a wireless pci card to pick up the signal from the router.
