You thought Dawn of the Dead was scary? Jeez...try watching The Ring, and then accidentally fall asleep with the TV on...
But seriously . . . just put your Zombie Survival Kit under your pillow. With the Kit that close how can you help but feel relaxed, comforted, and ready to sleep?

Lie in your bed, if you have a T.V. in your room, turn it on, you may also be satified with a light. I would tell you to think of good thoughts, but I know that doesn't work. Watch T.V. you will soon go to sleep trust me, just think about the T.V. and think about how sleepy you are, and of course, it's a movie, so it's not true. Watch something that is either boring, like some infomerical or watch something funny, but kiddy, like Disney Channel.

I have a similar problem, only its not with scary movies its with spiders, scorpions, wasps, etc. If I cannot sleep because of my phobias, I just watch a movie(not scary and nothing with venom or stingers) just to think about something else and then when my mind is thinking of something else and I am really tired, I just go to bed. If you like video games, that works the best.....................I just realized how much of a wussy I am.

Before you go to sleep, watch a different movie, read a book or look at some photos of you and your friends and family and think about what you were doing in those pictures.

First at all, evite to look scary muvies late on the evening or before you must to sleep; that increase your adrenaline level and keep you stresed. For sleep you need to be relaxed.
Try to make a masage or a hot shower, and sleep with somebodyelse on the room.

Imagine you made that movie and did the make-up effects. I watch these movies and stare awe at the effects. Its all make believe. Don't get swayed away by those scary scenes. Take it as you're the effects director and your fears will disappear

same happened with me, i watched Exorcism of Mary Rose and i couldn't stop thinking about it for 2 weeks. each time i used to woke up at night, i directly look at the clock to see if it is 3:00 AM,in the movie it is the time when everything starts.
i can suggest you to pray,to go see the site of the movie maybe you will see how it was made, the interview of the actors... and you will not be afraid anymore.
